This was a great read. I’m halfway through Act 2 and I feel exactly the same way. I die and die and die and die and I just keep coming back. I like the challenge and the pain but it’s such a good gameplay loop that I cannot stop.
Genuine question. When does it get hard. I'm about 50% through the game right now and Ive also been working my way through all side content as I go and I haven't encountered anything that I'd describe as *very* difficult. I don't consider myself very good at these types of games and I've never played the original.
Some people are just built different *shrug* I think this is a hard game and I also think I'm pretty decent at these things. But just as a callibration point, virtually everyone I know is like a big soulsborne type who plays a lot of these games and is really good at them, and they all think this is really tough
